Lewis is drawn to residential projects, and how they’re occupied, adapted, and edited over time. Growing up in the UK, surrounded by heritage buildings, shaped an early interest in adaptive reuse and how new architecture can be layered carefully onto the old.

Lewis’ design thinking comes back to simplicity: how something that looks straightforward is often more complex to achieve, and how the best design uses fewer materials to do more. Outside the studio Lewis leads an active life doing bikepacking, camping and photography.
