Tahli came to the industry through an Arts degree majoring in English and Creative Writing, before redirecting her path to architecture. She’s drawn to projects that respond carefully to their existing context and prioritise the public good. She received the Bates Smart Award for her thesis project, which explored social infrastructure for teenagers through the adaptive reuse of a neglected suburban corner store into a public art studio.

Growing up across Queensland’s rainforest, city and coast gave her an early understanding of how climate and context shape the way people live. Tahli enjoys working through both the broader process and the smaller details of a project, balancing simplicity with generosity.
