Kelley is a Project Director and Fieldwork’s education sector lead, with strength in masterplanning, spatial strategy and design development. She is known for her ability to carry a clear vision from concept through every stage, ensuring that the integrity of the original idea is maintained as the project evolves.

With over two decades of experience, she brings a depth of knowledge across housing, cultural, and education projects, alongside a strong interest in urban design and shaping connected communities. Kelley is deeply committed to sustainability and to creating places that have a positive social and environmental impact. She is attuned to how buildings feel, believing that well-designed spaces can heal, unite and inspire. Living and working in Shanghai early in her career sparked a lasting fascination with density and urban life that continues to shape her thinking today.

Kelley leads the Learning and Development and Sustainability Committees.

Quino Holland,

Quino co-founded Fieldwork with a clear intent: to build a practice that does genuinely good work and treats the people doing it well. With over 25 years in practice, he leads design across the studio, bringing a holistic understanding of architecture that extends from concept through to the financial and development realities that shape what gets built.  

It’s an understanding that was sharpened through co-founding Assemble with Ben – a community-focused development group – and Assemble Papers, a publication about the culture of living closer together. Raised in Peru, Quino maintains a deep connection to the country, including pro bono work there. He leads our Fieldstudies and Country-Centred Design committees

Tim Brooks,
Associate Director

Tim is an experienced project lead with end-to-end capability – from feasibility through to handover – and the broad knowledge base that comes from having run projects at every stage. He works closely with builders and clients to ensure design integrity carries through to completion, particularly during construction.

Tim is drawn to education projects and the opportunity to shape environments for learning that build a genuine sense of belonging. That commitment to education extends beyond the studio, where he teaches and guest critiques at RMIT and the University of Melbourne.

Tim co-leads the Fieldstudies Committee.

Stephanie McNamara,
Associate Director

Stephanie is a design-focused project lead who excels at the front end – strategy, feasibility, concept design and design development. She’s known for taking a complex brief and quickly distilling what actually matters, mapping out a project’s narrative and priorities before the detail takes over.  

Her experience spans a wide range of typologies, including projects with a strong focus on public amenity. Stephanie’s approach is built from the inside out: materials and the way they come together drive the design, rather than form with materiality as an afterthought.  

She leads the Country-Centred Design Committee and sits on the Fieldstudies Committee.

Vlad Doudakliev,

Vlad is a technically rigorous architect and clear communicator who leads Fieldwork’s Adelaide studio. His strength is in the problem-solving side of architecture – the tetris of bringing together complex functional programme and building elements, alongside the fine-grain detail work that determines how a building performs. He brings a particular expertise in high-performance buildings, including Passivhaus and Green Star.

He’s pragmatic about the gap between aspiration and delivery – balancing progressive architecture with constructability and commercial reality and working with builders from this perspective.

Vlad leads the Quality Assurance Working Group, and is a member of the Systems Management and BIM Committees.

Bettina Robinson,
Associate Director & Interior Design Leader

Bettina leads Fieldwork’s interiors team, bringing over 15 years of experience across residential, commercial, hospitality and hotel projects. Trained in architecture, her appreciation for materials and a sensitivity to spatial quality drew her to interiors – with a particular focus on how materials can hold value beyond their initial use, not just how a building looks on completion.

Collaboration is central to how she works: bringing together engaged teams around a shared commitment to create meaningful outcomes for clients, users and place.

Bettina co-leads the Fieldstudies committee.

Sukhjit Kaur,
Associate

Sukhjit is a delivery-focused architect with close to two decades of experience across multi-residential, commercial, hospitality, cultural, and education projects. She is at her best on site, engaging directly with the construction process and navigating the variables that shape the final built outcome.

Sukhjit enjoys leading projects from concept through to completion, underpinned by strong design and documentation expertise. She is adept at managing client and builder relationships while resolving complex briefs and site constraints. Sukhjit believes that well-designed density should be generous, inclusive, and resilient.

Outside of practice, she runs marathons internationally in honour of her father. She sits on Fieldwork’s BIM and Systems Committee and is passionate about knowledge sharing and mentoring emerging architects.

Jane DuBois,
Senior Project Architect

Jane is a registered architect with over 18 years of experience across multi-residential, public, commercial, heritage and education projects. She works across all phases – from inception through to completion – and brings a particular sensitivity to how buildings respond to their built and social context. Jane has extensive experience across adaptive reuse projects.

Jane is an active member of the Parlour Collective, deepening her knowledge of designing with Country, equity and community engagement. She’s drawn to architecture driven by culture, sustainability and connection. Outside of practice, she paints, gardens and follows live music.

Jane is on the Learning and Development committee.

Shuian Sang,

Shuian is an end-to-end architect with over a decade experience of delivering projects across diverse scales and typologies, including multi-residential developments, aged care, adaptive reuse, cultural projects, education, and commercial buildings. She is meticulous and rigorous in her approach, bringing clarity and consistency from concept through to completion.

Having grown up in Southeast Asia before moving to Melbourne, Shuian is grounded in sensitivity to spatial and functional experiences, with careful attention to how architecture is inhabited and responds to environmental and urban conditions over time. She is drawn to meaningful projects, such as adaptive reuse, extending a building’s life offers environmental and cultural value.

She thrives on collaborative problem-solving, working closely with clients, consultants, and contractors as an advocate for both client and building occupants. Shuian contributes to Fieldwork’s BIM Committee and volunteers with the EmAGN Committee at the Australian Institute of Architects’ Victorian Chapter.

Holly Slater,
Architect

Holly brings a strong focus on project delivery, with thorough documentation and technical capability. Skills that help navigate complex requirements without losing sight of design ambition. She’s drawn to projects that need thoughtful, well-resolved solutions – work where design, technical knowledge and collaboration come together to produce something distinctive and enduring.

Outside of architecture, Holly has an interest in meditation and mindfulness, and the parallels between attention and how we experience space.

Raphael Graham,

Raphael is an allrounder – working across concept design and technical delivery across our commercial, civic, educational and residential projects. He’s detail-driven, with a particular interest in materials, construction systems and how they’re deployed. Before joining Fieldwork, Raphael worked internationally in Rotterdam and London on large-scale projects, including coordinating with stakeholders and consultants in French across projects in Paris.  

He studied architecture at Monash, where he graduated as Dux, and completed a semester at the Confluence Institute in Lyon. Raphael is passionate about architecture that contributes to an inclusive, sustainable urban life. He sits on Fieldwork’s Fieldstudies committee.

Nicola Leong,
Architect

Nicola has over a decade of experience across multi-residential, education, commercial and social housing projects. She has extensive knowledge of urban design and planning through her advisory work and brings a sharp eye for detail to every stage of a project.   

Nicola is particularly drawn to social housing and community engagement, having worked on socially minded projects locally and internationally while working in Rotterdam. She works with stakeholders early in the design process to build genuine relationships and enable collaborative decision-making. Years of renting in bad apartments gave her a practical conviction: that good quality housing should be accessible to all.

Nicola is a member of the Country-Centred Design Committee.

Bridget Lensen,
Architect

Bridget is a thorough, detail-focused allrounder with over a decade of experience, known for clear communication. She’s particularly drawn to community, education and arts buildings – projects designed for a broad range of people. Time spent working in Istanbul shaped her thinking on density: the lively, always-occupied streets left a lasting impression on what community-focused urban life can look like.

She enjoys the problem-solving that comes with construction, and the relationships formed working through challenges on site with builders. Outside the studio, she loves reading and running with her dog.

Frances is approachable, organised and practical, with a clear and considered communication style that clients respond well to. She’s drawn to residential and community-focused projects where design has a direct, daily impact on how people live – favouring spaces that feel calm and well resolved over anything overdesigned.

Living through a major renovation of her family home as a teenager sparked her interest in architecture. The natural beauty of Sydney’s harbour and bushland shaped her appreciation for buildings that respond well to climate and landscape.

She has worked across urban design, masterplanning and sustainable multi-residential housing projects. Bridget is drawn to work that starts with deep site research, and brings in elements of co-design, so the people who’ll use a place can help shape it.

Good design, for Bridget, has integrity: it expresses its surrounding context and responds to the people it’s intended for. A university exchange in Vancouver, Canada, reinforced Bridget’s love of nature and regenerative design, which feeds into her love of rock climbing, running and hiking.
